8 Best Free E-Book Resources
Books are great, but sometimes paper ones just cost too much and can be cumbersome to carry around. Luckily, the internet has a solution! Free e-books and audiobooks! The sites below have already saved me tons of money on books for college. Whether you're reading for pleasure or for school, I hope you find these resources helpful!
Bartleby
This site hosts many ebooks you can read online. As with most of the sources below, this site is especially good for finding Public Domain classics.
Archive.org
This site can be a bit of a hassle to navigate so it's not my first choice, but with 8.8 million texts, it's still a great resource.
Adelaide University eBooks
While perhaps not the most extensive library, the eBooks on this site are well-formatted and available in several file types or online.
LibriVox
A great source for audiobook versions of public domain works, read by volunteer contributors. Listen online or download! This is the first place I go to for audiobooks.
Gutenberg.org
A massive collection, Project Gutenberg is my go-to source for ebooks, which can be read online or downloaded. They also have some audiobooks!
Just found your blog and I have to say I am quite impressed!!!! Nice layout and GREAT content!!!
